Fitzgerald Rotary to Explore Chartering Interact Club

     Patterned after a program of the Rotary Club of Chesapeake, Virginia

​“Paint Your Heart Out” day will involve the exterior painting and repairing of 15 homes in Chesapeake. The effort will include donations of money and material from a variety of banks, businesses, and individuals, as well as hands on participation by church groups, clubs, military personnel and other civic and service organizations.

Since its inception in 1991, Paint Your Heart Out (PYHO) has been an incredible success and has exemplified Rotary International’s motto of “Service Above Self.” This event has attracted thousands of volunteers and has aided almost 500 homeowners in the City of Chesapeake. Recipients, who are often unable to maintain their own homes, are ecstatic with the outcome; and volunteers benefit knowing that they’ve made a difference in someone’s life. For more information see:
