"A campaign to encourage and provide immunizations to our children in our community can hopefully prevent pain and suffering from other families" stated project chair Gary Smith.

Fitzgerald Rotary received a district grant of 2014-2015. The proceeds from the grant and other fundraisers were used to purchase an AED unit for the Ben Hill County School System.  Fitzgerald High School Athletic Director Paul Stokes launched a campaign to secure 7 AED units for various athletic facilities in t he system.  The AEDs are portable and will also be available for the sports teams of the system during practices and games.  These units will increase the medical response time should a need arise on campus or at a practice or game.
